Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Multimodality Radiology Technologist who is trained and competent in at least two modalities and ready to work in any area required by the department. The role supports diverse imaging services across General Radiology, CT, MRI, mammography, interventional radiology, ultrasound and nuclear medicine/PET.

The technician must possess an ARRT registration, NJ state license, and a strong clinical skill set with excellent communication and computer literacy.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Must meet ARRT registration requirements and pass the examination.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• The Multimodality Technologist must be trained, qualified and competent in at least two of the listed modalities and be able to work in any area needed by the department.
• Responsible for operating across General Diagnostic Radiology, CT, MRI, Mammography, Interventional Radiology, Ultrasound and Nuclear Medicine/PET as patient needs dictate.

The Multimodality Technologist is a Radiology Technologist who is trained, qualified and competent in at least two of the below disciplines. The technologist is expected to work in any area for which they are qualified based on the operational needs of the department.

• General Diagnostic Radiology
• CT
• MRI
• Mammography
• Interventional Radiology
• Ultrasound
• Nuclear Medicine/PET

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
• Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Must be able to meet the requirements for the National Registry (ARRT) and pass the examination.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• NJ state license for Diagnostic Radiology (D.R).
• Registration with the ARRT - one or more of the following modalities: MRI (or ARMRIT), CT, Xray, IR, or Mammography.
• NJ state license and Certification in Nuclear Medicine only if secondary modality is in Nuclear Medicine.
• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.
