Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. seeks a Multimodality Tech to join our Radiology team in New Jersey.

The technologist must be qualified in at least two modalities and may work across General Diagnostic Radiology, CT, MRI, Mammography, Interventional Radiology, Ultrasound, or Nuclear Medicine depending on department needs. Education includes a high school diploma or GED and an AMA‑approved Radiologic Technology program.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an AMA‑approved Radiologic Technology program.
• NJ state license for Diagnostic Radiology (D.R.) required.
• ARRT certification in one or more modalities (MRI, CT, X-ray, IR or Mammography) required or ARRT eligible.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide radiology services across two or more modalities as department needs dictate.
• Work in General Diagnostic Radiology, CT, MRI, Mammography, Interventional Radiology, Ultrasound, and Nuclear Medicine/PET as assigned.
• Maintain excellent written and verbal communication with team and patients.

The Multimodality Tech is a Radiology Tech who is trained, qualified and competent in at least two of the below disciplines. The technologist is expected to work in any area for which they are qualified based on the operational needs of the department.

• General Diagnostic Radiology
• CT
• MRI
• Mammography
• Interventional Radiology
• Ultrasound
• Nuclear Medicine/PET

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
• Completion of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

• One-year experience in Interventional procedures.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• NJ state license for Diagnostic Radiology (D.R).
• Registration with the ARRT - one or more of the following modalities: MRI (or ARMRIT), CT, Xray, IR, or Mammography.
• NJ state license and Certification in Nuclear Medicine only if secondary modality is in Nuclear Medicine.
• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.

Licenses and Certifications Preferred:

• VI or CV certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
