Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health seeks a Multimodality Radiology Tech with competence in at least two modalities. The technologist rotates across General Diagnostic Radiology, CT, MRI, Mammography, Interventional Radiology, Ultrasound and Nuclear Medicine based on department needs.

Eligible for a sign-on bonus up to 10,000 USD for full-time positions on Day or Evening shifts when offered by October 22, 2026. NJ licensed radiology techs encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED completed.
• Completion of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Proficient computer skills including productivity suites.

Responsibilities

• Work in multiple radiology modalities based on qualifications (CT, MRI, Mammography, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, etc.).
• Provide patient care across areas required by department needs.
• Maintain high standards of image quality and patient safety.

The Multimodality Tech is a Radiology Tech who is trained, qualified and competent in at least two of the below disciplines. The technologist is expected to work in any area for which they are qualified based on the operational needs of the department.

• General Diagnostic Radiology
• CT
• MRI
• Mammography
• Interventional Radiology
• Ultrasound
• Nuclear Medicine/PET

• Eligible for up to $10,000 sign-on bonus for full-time Multi-Modality Technologist positions on the Day or Evening shift who accept a job offer on or before October 22, 2026.
• The Multi-Modality position must include crossover exclusively within CT, Mammography, MRI, or Nuclear Medicine to achieve eligibility for the sign-on bonus.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
• Completion of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

• One-year experience in Interventional procedures.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• NJ state license for Diagnostic Radiology (D.R).
• Registration with the ARRT - one or more of the following modalities: MRI (or ARMRIT), CT, Xray, IR, or Mammography.
• NJ state license and Certification in Nuclear Medicine only if secondary modality is in Nuclear Medicine.
• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.

Licenses and Certifications Preferred:

• VI or CV certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
