Job summary

The position requires ARRT certification within 3 months, KBMIRT license prior to start date, and BLS. Experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRC-approved program in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT certification required within 3 months of hire.
• KBMIRT temporary license required prior to start date.
• BLS certification required.
• One year of experience as a general radiographer preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic examinations according to established protocols.
• Ensure correct patient identification and order verification.
• Assist radiologist with intricate examinations.
• Maintain radiation safety practices and shielding use.
• Prepare for and administer contrast media per policy.
• Instruct Radiologic Technology students in positioning and film critique.
• Attend department meetings and maintain equipment competency.
