Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Temple is seeking a Multi-modality Sonographer to perform vascular and echocardiography studies. This full-time role includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and on-site work in Temple, Texas.

Responsibilities include performing ultrasound procedures, assisting in procedures, and educating fellows and students. The position requires two credentials (RCS or RDCS) and RVT or RVS, with on-call duties including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiology program or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of professional echocardiography/vascular experience.
• Trained in transthoracic echocardiography with protocol familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-modality ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, cardiac and vascular.
• Identify abnormalities, expand examination scope as needed, and ensure accurate measurements.
• Assist physicians in procedures and provide patient preparation and history.
• Maintain equipment, calibrations, and quality checks per manufacturer guidelines.
• Share knowledge with fellows, team members, and during clinical rotations.
