Otak, a leader in multimodal infrastructure, seeks a Transportation Project Engineer / Project Manager to shape transportation projects in Colorado. The role covers municipal roadways, trails, bridges, and underpasses, with a strong emphasis on active transportation.Based in Louisville or Denver, you will manage project tasks, prepare plans in AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation OpenRoads, estimate costs, and contribute to proposals and client relations.
Qualifications
BSCE required from an accredited college.
5–8 years of civil engineering experience with transportation/multimodal design.
PE license in Colorado or ability to obtain within six months.
Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation OpenRoads.
Knowledge of AASHTO, CDOT, NACTO, MUTCD design guidelines.
Responsibilities
Manage tasks and teams on transportation projects.
Design roadway, site layout, grading, drainage, utilities and erosion control.
Prepare construction plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation OpenRoads.
Prepare specifications and cost estimates.
Plan and coordinate projects with limited supervision; assist in business development.
Provide construction support services.
