The position requires advanced knowledge of transportation planning practices, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel across Texas to meetings and project sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of transportation planning experience.
• Experience with regional/local corridor assessments and land use analysis.
• Proven ability to obtain transportation planning funds and grants.
• Experience with data analysis using ESRI and Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate client communications and lead public involvement plans with sub-consultants.
• Guide design teams on complete streets, cycle tracks, and multimodal projects.
• Manage projects to meet objectives, timelines and quality standards.
• Identify client opportunities, respond to RFQs, and build dedicated support teams.
• Ensure compliance with AASHTO, PROWAG, ADA, TxDOT, MUTCD standards.
