HDR is seeking a Traffic Designer/EIT to support our expanding Midwest transportation practice in Missouri. You will perform multimodal transportation analyses and assist with design and delivery on municipal and larger projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 0-2 years of traffic engineering experience.
• EIT registration or working toward EIT registration.
• Experience with traffic design software and CAD tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform multimodal transportation analyses using microsimulation and deterministic models.
• Design traffic elements including signals, signing/marking, lighting, and ITS.
• Maintain MOT planning and analysis.
• Conduct transportation safety analyses for multimodal contexts.
• Support transportation planning efforts, corridor studies, and traffic impact analyses.
