The Maine Department of Transportation seeks a Project Manager for the Multimodal Program to oversee a portfolio of public works projects from inception to completion. You will coordinate with team members, town officials, MaineDOT management, and other stakeholders, and monitor scope, schedule, and budget, guiding partners under MaineDOT agreements while reporting to a Senior Project Manager.

Qualifications

• Licensure as a Professional Engineer or twelve (12) years experience in technical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and foster communication with team members, public town officials, MaineDOT management, and other stakeholder groups to discuss on-going project issues and resolve problems.
• Actively monitor scope, schedule, and budget of each project, and recommend correction action as needed.
• Overseeing and providing guidance to public officials and private businesses which have entered into agreement with MaineDOT for a local or business-related project, and, Ensuring project conformance with MaineDOT standards and policies.
• The incumbent will be responsible for organizing and presenting projects as part of the MaineDOT's public involvement process.
