Job summary

The Keystone Distinction Group is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager in Little Rock, AR to lead multimodal transportation operations across rail, truck, and barge. You will optimize costs, manage carrier relationships, and ensure timely movement of materials and products.

Responsibilities include coordinating railcar scheduling, barge shipments, and over‑the‑road movements, negotiating rates, and monitoring KPI performance within a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of logistics experience in heavy industrial or large-scale transport.
• Experience coordinating rail, truck, and barge operations.
• Knowledge of railcar scheduling and rail fleet operations.
• Experience negotiating freight contracts and managing third‑party providers.
• Proficiency with ERP and TMS.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Exposure to regulatory compliance (DOT, FRA) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inbound and outbound transportation across rail, truck, and barge.
• Coordinate railcar scheduling, barge shipments, and over‑the‑road movements.
• Negotiate freight rates and manage carrier contracts.
• Monitor transportation costs and performance KPIs.
• Develop relationships with railroad operators, barge companies, and freight brokers.
• Optimize rail, port, and transloading operations to improve delivery and reduce costs.
• Ensure proper shipping documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Utilize ERP and TMS to monitor shipments and analyze performance.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives in logistics efficiency and carrier performance.
