Job summary

VA School for the Deaf & Blind is seeking a Digital Media and Studio Manager to lead multimedia production, storytelling, and video initiatives that support educational programs and public information.

In this role you will collaborate with students, families, educators, and partners to create accessible media, manage complex projects, and coordinate resources for outreach and workforce readiness.

Qualifications

• Multimedia production, educational technology, digital learning, or related fields.
• Plan, develop, produce, and manage multimedia projects from concept to implementation.
• Experience working with Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Blind, Low Vision, Deafblind, or related needs.
• Develop accessible multimedia resources communicating meaningful stories to diverse audiences.
• Capture and share authentic stories highlighting educational experiences and outcomes.
• Collaborate with students, families, educators, and community partners to create multimedia content.
• Manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders, budgets, timelines, and vendors.
• Create resources for professional learning, family engagement, outreach, and workforce development.
• Apply accessibility principles in multimedia production for people with disabilities.
• Utilize multimedia, storytelling, simulations, and emerging technologies to improve access and literacy.
