Job summary

UVA Health seeks a Manager of Multimedia Design & Art Direction to lead the Creative Studio, partnering with the Head of Creative to bring vision to life across advertising, digital, print and branding. You will build processes, mentor designers, and drive production efficiency while maintaining brand integrity.

The role requires a strong portfolio, 7+ years in creative leadership, and proficiency with Adobe CC and Figma, plus a commitment to accessibility and scalable systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required, 7+ years in progressive creative leadership.
Portfolio showing branding, typography, storytelling and campaigns.
Experience leading multidisciplinary design teams in-house or agency.

Responsibilities

Lead the design team and provide art direction across multi-channel projects.
Develop and enforce production standards and workflows.
Coach designers through feedback and performance discussions.
Collaborate with Marketing, Photography and Video teams.
