Job summary

UVA Health seeks a Manager of Multimedia Design & Art Direction to lead the Creative Studio, building a high-performing team and defining production standards. You will balance creative excellence with operational efficiency, establish workflows, and drive strategic opportunities across campaigns and brands.

You will collaborate with the Head of Creative to evolve the visual identity, drive ADA accessibility standards, and leverage Adobe CC, Figma, and AI tools to elevate ideation and production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with extensive creative leadership experience.
• Proven success leading designers through art direction and coaching.
• Portfolio showing branding, campaigns, and visual storytelling.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe CC and Figma; ability to integrate AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design team to execute across multimedia projects including advertising, print, digital, email, social, and video.
• Drive art direction reviews to strengthen concepts and align with brand standards.
• Develop presentation decks communicating concepts, direction and rationale to stakeholders.
• Partner with photography and video teams to ensure cohesive storytelling across campaigns.
