Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a detail-oriented Imaging Technician for our Media & Archive Services team in Boyers, PA. You will digitize, restore, remediate, and reformat historic visual media within a digital studio, maintaining logs and archival reports.

You will collaborate with Client Services, Studio Managers, and clients to ensure accurate transfers, proper equipment calibration, and timely delivery while following secure archiving procedures.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of hands-on experience handling historic analog/digital visual formats and executing digital restoration/scanning.
• Strong knowledge of media archiving, metadata identification, hardware/overhead scanners, and common software tools such as Photoshop, Photo-Mechanic, Adobe Acrobat, FileMaker, and Lightroom.
• Proven ability in technical troubleshooting, quality control, and time management for high-volume projects.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

What You’ll Do

• Digitize, restore, remediate, and reformat historic analog and digital 2D visual media while maintaining detailed project logs, asset tracking, and archival reports.
• Collaborate with Client Services, Studio Managers, and clients to manage technical information exchange, equipment calibration, and final service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with secure physical and electronic file delivery standards, chain-of-custody protocols, and proper digital archiving procedures.

What You’ll Bring

• 1-3 years of hands-on experience handling historic analog/digital visual formats (e.g., negatives, glass plates, slides, posters) and executing digital restoration/scanning.
• Strong knowledge of media archiving, metadata identification, hardware/overhead scanners, and software tools including Photoshop, Photo-Mechanic, Adobe Acrobat, FileMaker, and Lightroom.
• Proven ability in technical troubleshooting, quality control monitoring, and effective time management for high-volume project completion.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

What We Offer

• Salary: $17.00/hr, paid bi-weekly via direct deposit
• Shifts: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
