Iron Mountain is seeking a detail-oriented Multimedia Specialist II to join our Media & Archive Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for image asset migration, physical restoration and remediation, safe digital capture, and digital asset tracking of historic visual media within a digital studio environment.
Safely inspect, handle, and digitize a wide variety of photographic media formats, identifying deterioration to perform remediation and ensure safe high-resolution digital capture.
Collaborate daily with studio professionals, business teams, and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality media projects under tight deadlines while maintaining minimal supervision.
Ensure compliance with organizational archive management standards, maintaining strict inventory accuracy across file structures and database systems.
The ideal candidate will have:
2+ years of hands-on experience in photographic digitization, rich media archiving, or digital studio operations.
Strong technical knowledge of multiple Digital Workstation (DW) platforms across macOS and PC, including Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, CaptureOne, Adobe Acrobat, and FileMaker.
Proven ability in media restoration, format identification (negatives, transparencies, glass plates, slides, posters), multi-tasking under tight deadlines, and effective cross-functional communication.
A Bachelor’s Degree or technical certificate from an accredited multi-media, film, photojournalism, graphics, or archive management program is highly preferred (or equivalent practical experience).
Pay Rate: $23.00/hour (12-Month Temp-to-Hire Contract)
Shift: Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Location: 1025 North Highland Avenue, Hollywood, CA (On-site Studio)
Reasonably expected salary range: $51,000.00 - $63,700.00
Please note that an employee's starting salary may vary based on a variety of factors. Where State, Municipal, Provincial, Territorial or other legal minimum wages exceed the federal minimum wage, employees are entitled to the higher rate.
