Belmont University is seeking a Multimedia Specialist to perform a variety of tasks with a high degree of creativity and latitude. The Multimedia Specialist works as an integral member of the Digital Learning & Innovation team within Educational Innovation, creating and enhancing learning experiences through the conceptualization and creation of visually compelling and effective media. Working alongside instructional designers, the Multimedia Specialist translates subject matter expert content into clear, engaging, accessible, and learner-centered instructional materials for Belmont's online graduate programs, and collaborates with marketing and enrollment teams to attract potential learners.

A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or a combination of experience dealing with digital media and/or completion of a related educational degree equal to four years is required.
Proficiency in conceptualizing, designing, and producing multimedia assets across multiple modalities — including graphic design, iconography, infographics, interactive graphics, video, and audio — to create clear, engaging, accessible, and learner-centered materials is required. Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator), Articulate 360 (Rise, Storyline), Canva, and Genially is preferred.
The selected candidate will be required to complete a background check satisfactory to the University.
