Job summary

The City of Carson is seeking a Multimedia Assistant to support video production, photography, graphic design, and live event coverage across City TV and social media. Under the supervision of the Multimedia Manager, you will help with production, editing, and distribution of multimedia content and assist with digital media workflows.

The schedule varies and may include mornings, evenings, and weekends, with shifts up to 6 hours per day and up to 18 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in Multimedia or related field.
• 1+ year digital media/TV production experience preferred.
• Strong editing, shooting, and asset management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with filming and setup for multimedia content.
• Support editing of videos, graphics, and audio.
• Organize digital assets and project archives.
• Publish content to social media and YouTube.
