Boston Globe Media seeks a Multimedia Producer to craft compelling video, audio, and photography stories across our platforms. You will shoot, edit, and produce for broadcast, digital, streaming, and social channels, contributing to podcasts and live events as needed.

The role requires strong video storytelling, post-production skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced newsroom with tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience producing videos, preferably in a daily news environment.
• College degree or equivalent is required.
• Ability to write, record, create, edit, and produce multimedia features.
• Comfortable under tight deadlines and high-stress breaking news.
• Experience with multiple camera setups (Canon C100/C300, DSLRs).

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality video journalism with strong storytelling and visuals.
• Oversee field and studio production, including shooting, editing, and lighting.
• Collaborate with reporters and editors to develop timely video pieces.
• Create digital videos using internal and external sources.
• Pitch and develop new multimedia story ideas and scripts.
