Job summary

NBC Boston is seeking a Correspondent/Producer, Creative Content to craft daily multimedia content across social, digital, and linear platforms. The role involves planning, line-producing, and hosting, with a focus on high-end, fast-turn content and cross-department collaboration.

The candidate should have extensive knowledge of Adobe Premiere and Dalet, plus strong editorial judgement and the ability to manage long-form and short-form projects from concept to delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5 years of producing and on-camera experience.
• 5 years editing experience of Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator or related editing software.

Responsibilities

• Ideate and create high-end content across all platforms from start to finish as requested by internal clients
• Assist Management with cross departmental integrations
• Pitch creative concepts to stretch the bounds of the group's output
• Actively participate in daily content meetings and tailor content based on department goals
• Work closely with other departments and leaders to develop ongoing content creation and build cross departmental collaboration
• Maintain close interdepartmental relationships to ensure consistent understanding and execution of long-term business objectives
• Work with the creative department to develop and retain consistent style and branding with respect to original content
• Flexible scheduling based on content needs. Some local and national travel
• Display comfort in forward-facing interactions with subjects, clients, community partners, and any internal or external person attached to a given project
• Execute strong editorial judgement and standards skills
