Job summary

Wesley Theological Seminary is seeking a Multimedia Specialist to lead end-to-end audio and video production for the Lewis Center for Church Leadership in Washington, DC. You will direct studio and field recordings, edit podcasts and video courses, and distribute assets across digital platforms to expand reach.

The role requires 3+ years of professional AV production, strong Adobe CC skills, and a portfolio of published work.

Qualifications

3+ years of professional audio/video production and editing experience.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and related production suites.
Portfolio demonstrating published video and audio work.

Responsibilities

Directing & Studio Production: serve as primary director and AV engineer for studio, location, and remote recordings for podcasts, interviews, and course modules.
Equipment & Studio Management: oversee AV hardware, camera setups, lighting rigs, microphones, and studio equipment.
Audio & Video Editing: perform audio cleanup, mixing, color grading, and graphics insertion for podcasts and course videos.
Digital Asset Optimization: format, compress, and deliver files for website, LMS, YouTube, and podcast networks.
Cross-Department Collaboration: work with Marketing to produce promotional reels and social clips.
Media Archive Management: maintain a searchable repository of raw footage and assets.
