Job summary

The Association seeks a hands-on Multimedia Producer to support projects from concept through final delivery in our Washington, DC studio. You will handle remote recordings, webcasts, and hybrid productions, edit video and audio content, and manage projects through pre- to post-production while ensuring quality and brand alignment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Film, Television, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 4 years of hands-on experience in all phases of video production.
  • Hands‑on experience supporting productions in a small to misized studio environment
  • Experience translating complex topics into clear, engaging video content
  • Experience supporting remote recordings, virtual productions, and recorded sessions
  • Experience delivering content for web, events, learning platforms, and archival systems
  • Experience managing video assets, media libraries, and storage systems
  • A portfolio of relevant production work

Responsibilities

  • Conduct or support remote recordings, webcasts, virtual and hybrid productions, livestreams, and webcam-based productions.
  • Edit short- and long-form video and audio content, including creative programs, interviews, learning content, and podcasts
  • Manage assigned projects through pre-production, production, post-production, and final delivery.
  • Track timelines and quality control to ensure projects meet timeline, technical, creative, and brand expectations.
  • Manage project files, video assets, and media libraries within storage systems.
  • Follow established production processes and contribute to improvements in workflows, tools, and collaboration.
  • Be the primary hands‑on production resource for the Washington, DC studio, with studio readiness and reliable operation as the highest priority.
  • Work with senior leaders, executives, and partners, together with creative leadership, to plan and complete studio productions, communicating throughout the production process.
  • Prepare, configure, operate, and troubleshoot studio equipment and production systems, including cameras, lighting, microphones, audio systems, cabling, signal routing, monitoring, and related hardware.
  • Resolve technical issues quickly to minimize disruption
  • Support regional production, with an emphasis on events and productions in the greater Washington, DC/Maryland region.
  • Travel regionally or nationally to support conferences, events, shoots, and other productions.
  • Coordinate off‑site production logistics, including travel, equipment, freelance crews and vendors, schedules, budgets, and technical requirements.
