Job summary

J Street is seeking a Multimedia Operations Assistant to maintain our website backend, create new pages, and troubleshoot issues. The role also covers gathering analytics for Substack, podcast, and social media, plus outreach to guests and creators.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in website editing or development, basic HTML/CSS coding, and a passion for digital analytics and strong writing. This is a hybrid Washington, DC role with opportunities to contribute across content and strategy.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in website editing or development.
• Experience in writing very basic code or editing code in HTML, CSS, or Java.
• Deep interest in digital analytics and data collection.
• Strong writing and editing skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the backend of our website.
• Create new pages and troubleshoot issues.
• Manage backends of webinars or Leader meetings.
• Gather metrics for Substack, podcast, social media, and website.
• Assist with outreach to Substack guests and social media creators.
• Maintain tracking system for Substack/podcast schedule and outreach.
• Draft video scripts, blog posts, and social media content.
