Job summary

WGEM-TV/Gray Media, Inc. is seeking a multimedia journalist to join our Emmy Award-winning news team. You will shoot, write, and edit content for our digital and broadcast platforms, delivering compelling stories across multiple channels and platforms.

The role requires strong storytelling, enterprise reporting, and the ability to work with a photojournalist during live broadcasts. A bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field is preferred, and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in journalism, communications, or related field.
• Experience with news and video editing software is a benefit.
• A valid driver’s license is a must.
• Solid technical and computer skills with cross-platform content delivery.
• Ability to handle moderate stress regularly and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Salary/Wage:

$39,000 – $42,000/yr (based on experience)

Job Summary/Description:

WGEM is looking for a multimedia journalist to join our Emmy Award-winning news team. We are seeking qualified candidates who have a passion for storytelling and news gathering, with a strong understanding of how news is delivered on multiple platforms. You will shoot, write, and edit content for our digital and broadcast platforms. During newscasts, you may be teamed with a photojournalist for active LIVE storytelling.
