Job summary

McKinsey & Company in New York is seeking a leader to own the Reach and Engagement multimedia portfolio, overseeing podcasts and video across McKinsey.com, Omny, and YouTube, and guiding audience-growth strategies.

You will manage a team of content creators, partner with editors and partners, apply data-driven decision making, and set governance, standards, and performance metrics to scale thought leadership.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in business publishing and editing, including digital publishing
• Demonstrated ability to manage a team in a fast-paced publishing environment
• Ability to take a data-driven approach to portfolio strategy using analytics
• Deep understanding of global business trends across industries
• Strong data literacy and familiarity with audience engagement methods
• Familiarity with multimedia publishing and analytics tools is a plus
• Strong editorial skills and business literacy with constructive challenge
• Exceptional project-management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a low-structure environment
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder consensus abilities

Responsibilities

• Oversee development and publication of podcasts and videos for external publication
• Manage team of content creators, editors, and subject-matter experts
• Shape content structure, prioritization, production, packaging, distribution, and governance
• Review and edit content for voice, tone, and style consistency
• Own the multimedia portfolio direction and align with audience-growth goals
• Define workflows, governance, and performance indicators for the ecosystem
• Lead execution of a YouTube strategy prioritizing high-impact series
