Job summary

Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church in Houston seeks a Multimedia Designer to join the Creative team. You will design visuals for ministry events, support social media with images and short-form videos, and help implement the annual communications plan under the Creative Director.

You will work in-office with a focus on print and digital design, ensuring brand consistency and high-quality visuals across platforms.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Experience editing videos for short-form social media content.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Lead Graphic Designer to create visuals for ministry events.
• Develop annual communications plan aligning with ministry goals.
• Follow church branding and style guides for consistency across materials.
• Support publication development and redesign projects under guidance of Creative Director.
• Design graphics for church-wide events and social media platforms.
• Capture photo/video at services and events for social media use.
• Edit and produce short-form video content (Reels, Shorts, Stories).
• Organize and archive photo/video assets for team use.
• Stay updated on social media trends and platform updates.
