Job summary

24 Seven Talent seeks a Social Media Graphic Designer/Art Director for a long-term, onsite role in Houston. You will craft content for newsletters, emails and the website, blending strong writing with visual design and video skills.

Bring 2–4 years of agency or corporate in-house experience, plus an independent portfolio. Mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud is required; Sitecore/Staffbase/Marketo are a plus. Onsite four days a week in Houston.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in content creation and graphic design at an advertising agency or corporate in-house studio.
• Portfolio of editorial, email or web content — and ideally video — that you conceived and created independently, not only work produced against someone else's brief.
• Strong writing and editing skills with grammar, tone, voice and editorial standards.
• Solid visual design skills including typography and layout within brand systems.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva and/or comparable design platforms.
• Ability to take a brief from source material through polished execution with limited handoffs.
• Experience with Sitecore, Staffbase and/or Marketo is a plus.
• Photography, motion and lightweight video capture/editing skills is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create content for newsletters, email communications, website updates and broader editorial storytelling, along with supporting social and digital formats.
• Translate briefs, source material and objectives into clear, engaging content.
• Write, edit and refine copy across long-form, short-form and email formats for different channels.
• Design visual assets for web, email and editorial communications within brand systems.
• Combine copy, design and visual storytelling into cohesive finished work.
• Support lightweight video content from concept to basic capture/editing.
• Partner with editors and producers to determine the best creative approach.
• Manage multiple assignments and quick-turn requests while meeting standards.
