KnowBe4 invites a Multimedia Designer Intern to join our Clearwater office for a 12‑week, hybrid program. You will contribute to interactive e‑learning modules, graphics, and motion graphics while gaining exposure to senior executives through onboarding and events.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a relevant degree, possess a portfolio, and show proficiency in After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Audition. The role emphasizes collaboration, deadlines, and accessibility compliance.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed degree in Digital Media, Animation, Graphic Design, Communications, or Marketing.
• Portfolio showing creative writing and visual storytelling through social media content.
• Proficiency with post-production and video editing software, such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Audition.
• Experience creating and editing illustrated animations (coursework, freelance work, internships, or personal projects accepted).
• A strong understanding of social media platforms and current video trends.
• Strong verbal and written communications.
• Excellent time management and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Create multimedia assets for e-learning modules.
• Multimedia design includes: conceptualise; develop and produce visually engaging content across platforms, combining graphics, animation, video, and interactive media to support training.
• Create graphics and edit photos to use within animations.
• Create engaging documents and motion graphics.
• Create new/edit existing videos and animations.
• Perform sound mixing and synchronization.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Work within deadlines.
• Prepare and package graphic assets for localization vendors.
• Follow internal style guides and production flow procedures.
• Support content that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive per DEI statements.
• Ensure conformance with accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.1 AA.

Dates of Program: January 25th, 2027 - April 16th, 2027 (12 weeks)

The Multimedia Designer Intern performs essential duties to create animated 2- and 3-dimensional images to enhance the current interactive training modules into world-class, dynamic e-learning modules. They will also design the supporting materials that accompany the modules including but not limited to posters, security documents, and motion graphics. It is important that they provide fresh ideas with original solutions through engaging design and animation. The creative process at different stages may include conceptualization, storyboarding, layout, animation, graphic design, and editing.

Key Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or certificate in Digital Media, Animation, Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
• A portfolio showcasing creative writing and visual storytelling through social media content
• Proficiency with post-production and video editing software, such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Audition
• Experience creating and editing illustrated animations (coursework, freelance work, internships, or personal projects accepted)
