We are seeking a talented and versatile Multimedia Content Creator to craft engaging, high-impact content that drives brand awareness and audience engagement. This role combines social media content creation, video production for platforms like YouTube and TikTok, and informational video interviews. The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller with a proven ability to produce viral videos, shoot and edit professional-grade content, and maintain strict adherence to brand standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Develop, shoot, and edit compelling video content for social media (TikTok, Instagram, X, etc.), YouTube, and other platforms, including short-form viral videos, long-form informational content, and video interviews.
- Viral Strategy: Leverage trends, platform algorithms, and audience insights to create shareable, viral content that aligns with brand goals and maximizes reach.
- Video Production: Manage all aspects of video production, including scripting, storyboarding, filming, lighting, audio, and post-production editing.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all content reflects the company’s brand voice, visual identity, and messaging standards across platforms.
- Interview Content: Produce high-quality video interviews with internal stakeholders, industry experts, or partners, ensuring professional presentation and engaging delivery.
- Analytics & Optimization: Monitor content performance using analytics tools, adjust strategies to improve engagement, and report on KPIs like views, shares, and conversions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, creative, and leadership teams to align content with campaigns and business objectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in video content creation, with a portfolio showcasing viral social media videos, YouTube content, and/or professional interviews.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in video shooting (DSLR, mirrorless cameras, or mobile setups) and editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve). Knowledge of audio recording and lighting techniques.
- Viral Expertise: Deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, and algorithms, with a track record of creating high-engagement or viral content.
- Brand Savvy: Ability to adapt creative ideas to align with brand guidelines and maintain a cohesive aesthetic.
- Creativity: Strong storytelling skills, with an eye for visually compelling content and innovative concepts.
- Organization: Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for conducting interviews and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in film, media, marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required with equivalent experience).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with motion graphics or animation (e.g., Adobe After Effects).
- Familiarity with content management systems or scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Later).
- Knowledge of SEO and YouTube optimization strategies.
- On-camera experience or comfort appearing in content, if needed.
The position is remote but the applicant needs to be in the Twin Cities Metro.
