Job summary

Cumulus Media in Columbia, SC seeks a driven Multimedia Account Executive to grow new business and build strong client relationships across broadcast, digital, and events. You will develop multi-platform sales strategies, present compelling solutions, and close deals to meet and exceed quotas.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of outside sales experience, a solid grounding in media sales, and a passion for digital advertising. Valid driver’s license required. On-site role in Columbia, SC.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years outside sales experience; media sales preferred.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications or related field preferred.
• Proven success in media sales (broadcast and digital).
• Strong knowledge of digital advertising, including programmatic, social, and mobile.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, qualify, and secure new business through networking, cold calling, referrals and client meetings.
• Conduct needs analysis, manage CRM pipeline, and ensure accurate forecasting.
• Sell advertising solutions across broadcast, digital, and events.
• Drive digital revenue through Cumulus digital assets (including streaming, web, social marketing services).
• Develop effective multi-platform, integrated sales presentations; ability to negotiate and close
• Meet and exceed annual sales quotas through proactive engagement.
• Deliver compelling presentations demonstrating multimedia solutions for client goals.
• Apply consultative selling techniques to meet client objectives and maximize cross-channel opportunities.
• Deliver exceptional customer service.

USD $3,000.00 - USD $5,000.00 /Mo.

Pay Range

The monthly pay range listed above reflects your guaranteed income during your first year, with additional opportunities to earn commissions
