GCED is seeking a Multilingual Learner (ML) Teacher to support language development and academic success for students whose first language is not English. The role includes direct ELD instruction, ensuring access to grade‑level content, and collaboration with general education teachers to provide linguistically responsive instruction.

The Multilingual Learner (ML) Teacher supports the language development and academic success of students whose primary language is not English. This teacher provides direct instruction in English language development, supports access to grade-level content, and collaborates with general education teachers to ensure linguistically responsive instruction. This position may be in-person, online, or a combination of both.

The ML teacher plays a key role in promoting equity, cultural inclusion, and language access for multilingual learners, aligning instruction with WIDA English Language Development Standards and Minnesota Academic Standards
