Job summary

Denver Language School is seeking a substitute teacher to support K-8 learners at our Whiteman and Gilpin campuses. You will deliver lessons, manage classrooms, and maintain a positive learning environment under the Principal's direction.

This part-time, temporary role offers flexible scheduling (Mon–Fri). A Bachelor's degree in Education or related field is preferred, with the ability to teach multiple languages including Spanish, French, Mandarin Chinese, or English to diverse students.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• The instructional substitute teacher provides instruction and carries out a teacher's lesson plan in classrooms as assigned.
• The successful candidate organizes students for effective instruction and learning while maintaining classroom control that fosters a safe and positive environment for all students.
• The instructional substitute teacher motivates student learning and academic participation while ensuring the integrity of academic time and performs other duties as assigned by the school Principal.
