Responsibilities

• Teach grade-level curriculum per district-approved standards during teacher absence.
• Counsel students to support achievement and monitor behavior per policy.
• Observe, evaluate, and report on student performance and health.
• Prepare lessons, objectives, and materials according to curriculum guidelines.
• Set clear objectives for lessons, units, and projects.
• Present content using varied methods and technology to fit learning styles.
• Instruct individually and in groups, using diverse teaching methods.
• Prepare, administer, and grade tests; report grades in district software.
• Prepare attendance and activity reports for administrators.
• Communicate with parents/guardians and staff to resolve issues.
