Job summary

Acceleration Academies, LLC seeks a Multilingual Program Coordinator/ESOL Teacher to blend direct instruction with program management for multilingual learners. You will ensure ML students receive appropriate assessment, accommodations, and instructional support in line with state requirements.

The role collaborates with ML support teams to create learning pathways, monitor progress, and coordinate data-driven decisions. Strong ESOL certification and high school teaching experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• South Carolina teaching certification with ESOL endorsement (REQUIRED).
• Minimum 2 years of high school teaching experience.
• Strong communication, time management, instructional planning, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Support GC enrollment through recruitment and engagement efforts.
• Assist with development of Personalized Learning Plans for GCs.
• Create a welcoming environment for MLs and families.
• Plan and deliver content area instruction in individual and group settings.
• If certified in a content area, may serve as teacher of record for graduation requirements.
• Monitor GC progress toward course completion and content mastery.
• Conduct formative and summative assessments to gauge progress.
• Apply knowledge of IEP, ESE, and ELL accommodations.
• Document assistance with annual goals, short‑term objectives, benchmarks.
• Participate in meetings for ML students.
• Provide remediation and enrichment for GCs.
• Participate in development and success of GC data meetings and PD workshops.
