Qualifications

Must have a minimum of three years of teaching experience and possess a valid Indiana teaching license for the assigned grade levels and/or subject areas or be eligible to obtain an alternative teaching credential. REPA/REPA 3 Licensure Options:

English as a New Language P-12
Teachers of English Learners P-12

Must be able to transport self to various locations within the greater Fort Wayne area.

Hourly Rate

Valid Indiana Teaching license = $40.00 per hour

Basic Function

Provide tutoring services to Title III Non-Public students in English language development.

Essential Functions

Identify Title III Non-Public students under the guidance of the Local Education Authority (LEA) using criteria outlined in the rules and regulations covering Title III.
Collaborate with teachers of Title III Non-public students to align English language development instruction with general education curriculum.
Tutor Title III Non-public students in the area of English language development, both individually and in small groups outside of the classroom setting; monitor student progress.
Regularly consult with LEA regarding Title III services for the Non-public site(s).
