Job summary

Waterford Public Schools is seeking a Multilingual Learner Tutor at Great Neck Elementary School to support our elementary students with academic assistance and language development for learners whose primary language is not English.

The tutor collaborates with teachers, language specialists, and school staff to help multilingual learners improve English proficiency and succeed in content areas, working 35 hours per week at a rate of $32.12 per hour.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Proficiency in English and strong communication skills.
• Experience working with multilingual or diverse student populations.
• Patience, empathy, and cultural sensitivity.
• Bilingual or multilingual ability.
