Job summary

Howell Public Schools is seeking a Multilingual Learner Tutor (MLL) at Highlander Way Middle School in Howell, MI. The role supports students with limited English proficiency, assists teachers with assessments, and facilitates communication with families.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaking, reading, writing and listening.
• Experience providing one-on-one student support in education.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates communication between parents, students and teachers as needed.
• Assists with administering state and district assessments.
• Supports students with limited English proficiency in general education settings.
• Monitors Multilingual Learner students and supports course scheduling, as needed.
• Attends in-person daily; performs other duties as assigned.
