Howell Public Schools is hiring Multilingual Language Tutors (2) for the Spanish Immersion program at Three Fires Elementary in Howell, MI. The role supports teachers and students through translation, assessment administration and targeted tutoring.

Requirements include a high school diploma or higher, 60 college hours or an associate's degree, and strong English skills. This is a part-time, in-person position with a ten-month term (Aug–June).

Competenze

• Fluent in English speaking, reading, writing and listening.
• Experience with a second language is preferred but not required.
• Strong one-on-one student support skills required.
• Ability to work in a team with teachers and other MLL tutors.

Mansioni

• Facilitates communication/translation between parents, students and teachers.
• Assists with administering state and district assessments.
• Supports children in the general education classroom with teachers.
• Continually progress monitors MLL students.
• Participates in site events like Open House and registration.
• In-person attendance is required.
• Other duties as assigned.
