Job summary

White Bear Lake Area Schools is hiring a Paraprofessional for Multilingual Learners to support secondary students in grades 6–8 at Central Middle School.

Work is 24 hours per week, Monday through Friday, starting in the 2026-27 school year. Qualified candidates need a High school diploma or GED, and an AA/AS degree or 60 credits; bilingual skills are preferred, with Bloodborne Pathogens training required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associates degree preferred.
• Experience working with children; MN Parapro test or 60 credits.
• Blood Borne Pathogens training required.
• Bilingual skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs intermediate student support work assisting classroom ML teacher by working with students individually or in small groups.
• Work is performed under the moderate supervision of building administration.
