Qualifications/Skills:

• Ability to communicate in Spanish, Arabic, or Ukrainian preferred

Job Summary:

The Multilingual paraprofessional’s primary responsibility is to support identified ML students in reading, writing, listening, and speaking within ML and general education classes. The focus is on helping multilingual students access the curriculum and improve English language acquisition.

Salary and Benefits: Starting at $19.50/hr, with a comprehensive benefits package, including possibly no-cost health insurance. 182 work days and 10 paid holidays.

Physical Demands and Work Environment: The role requires standing, walking, sitting, talking, hearing, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, lifting up to 25 pounds, assisting students with mobility, and possibly handling medical supplies. The environment is usually quiet indoors but may be loud during activities or outdoor trips. Frequent interaction with students and staff is required.
