Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a signal-processing field or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 3+ years of experience in audio, speech, or embedded DSP work or equivalent coursework.
• Knowledge of acoustics fundamentals, microphones, transducers, and speech/audio signal behavior.
• Ability to operate audio-lab equipment and automotive hardware test benches hands-on.
• Experience running voice tests with native-quality pronunciation and accents.
• Proficiency with Adobe Audition, Audacity, or similar audio tools for editing and normalization.
• Comfort with QNX Sound and automotive hardware labs, firmware updates, and calibration processes.
• Familiarity with JIRA or similar issue-tracking systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate automotive hardware test benches and audio-lab equipment in hands-on lab settings.
• Execute and localize voice-test cases with native-quality pronunciation and accent.
• Review large audio recording sets and perform basic editing and normalization for test pipelines.
• Support QNX Sound stack issues and automotive hardware lab maintenance, including firmware updates and calibration.
• Collect vehicle data in lab and on-road conditions.
• Maintain vehicle fleet readiness through basic upkeep and inspections.
• Assist engineers with software updates, build changes, and firmware flashing.
• Build and maintain test rigs, wiring, and lab infrastructure.
