Job summary

Amcor Limited is hiring for a manufacturing associate to set up, run and adjust packaging lines for plastic film and bag production. You will follow GMP and ISO safety policies, inspect daily operations, and monitor quality data.

You will also train on equipment changes, BOMs, and line changeovers to maximize throughput and reduce scrap. The role requires ability to read travelers/BOMs, basic measurements, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is preferred.
• Experience in a team-work oriented environment is a plus.
• 3 to 6 months experience working as a Packer 2 and/or in manufacturing in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Set up, run and adjust manufacturing equipment to produce quality plastic film and bag products in a safe work environment.
• Follow and support all Company safety, GMP and ISO policies.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following safety policies and conducting daily section inspections.
• Read and interpret the Traveler (BOM) and follow changeovers and supplies needed.
• Be able to start/stop machines, adjust heat profiles, and maximize production while reducing scrap.
• Assist in running multiple lines with high output and quality; move packaging materials as needed.
• Perform routine equipment repairs and coordinate with maintenance as needed.
