Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Career Development Specialist to create and deliver engaging training content, helping associates become experts in operations, sales, customer service, and marketing across geographies.

You will design, conduct, facilitate, and evaluate programs, stay current on trends, arrange travel (50–75%), and collaborate with managers to tailor learning experiences. A high school diploma is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2–5 years of property management experience preferred.
• 2–5 years in a training role required.
• Advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Basic level knowledge of learning management systems (LMS) required.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop measurable learning experiences for Avenue5’s geographies, environments, and audiences.
• Collaborate with associates to identify and assess training and performance needs.
• Drive the development and delivery of increased e-learning capability as a learning solution.
• Create exercises, instructional activities, and training assessments that reinforce learning on specific topics and roles.
• Stay up-to-date on trends and regulations within training and property management.
• Coordinate training program logistics including travel, materials, and setup.
• Develop training materials, PowerPoint presentations, and other learning documents.
• Provide coaching and follow-up to managers and conduct refresher training as needed.
• Manage supplemental programs by coordinating with managers and publishing a training calendar.
• Assist integration teams for new contracts and properties by training new associates on policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with vendors to enhance internal training programs and communications.
