Job summary

Magnet HR SPP seeks a Property Manager in San Marcos, TX to lead day-to-day operations of one or more rental properties. You will focus on resident satisfaction, property standards, team performance, and financial success.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, organization, problem-solving, and solid property management knowledge. Responsibilities include leasing oversight, budget development, reporting, and vendor management, with a focus on compliance and safe, well-maintained

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Property Management, Real Estate, or related role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing requirements and safety standards.
• Proficiency in financial reporting and property management operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day property operations and performance.
• Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly property reports.
• Develop and manage property budgets.
• Manage rent collection and accounts receivable; coordinate evictions when needed.
• Maintain financial records and prepare reports for stakeholders.
• Build resident relationships through effective communication and conflict resolution.
• Oversee leasing, applications, background checks, and sign leases.
• Market available units; conduct tours and screen prospects.
• Coordinate with marketing and maintenance teams to optimize property performance.
• Ensure compliance with laws, safety standards, and company policies.
• Supervise on-site staff and vendor relationships.
