ONYX Multifamily Group is seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager for Ranch at 1856 in San Marcos, Texas. You will work with the Property Manager to drive leasing, collections and resident service, and you may lead in their absence.

Responsibilities include resident account management, tours, applications, renewals, and maintaining physical standards. Multifamily experience is essential for success and growth within the property management team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years onsite multifamily or leasing experience.
• Strong customer service and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Knowledge of fair housing and leasing best practices.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Property Manager in daily operation and performance.
• Manage resident accounts, rent collection, delinquencies, notices, and payments.
• Maintain resident ledgers and documentation; assist with move-ins/outs.
• Support lease enforcement, renewals, and resident retention.
• Assist with tours, lead follow-ups, and conversion of qualified traffic.
• Monitor occupancy and leasing activity; participate in reporting.
• Walk the community and ensure standards with the maintenance team.
• Serve as onsite leader in the Property Manager's absence.
