Job summary

DHI Communities, a division of D.R. Horton, is seeking a Multifamily-Project Manager to oversee construction management for multiple communities. You will collaborate with design, development, purchasing, and property management to optimize project success.

Qualified candidates have 5+ years in construction PM, a valid driver’s license, and proficiency with MS Office. Some travel overnight is required. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of construction project management experience, preferably multifamily or commercial.
• Must have a vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Regular exposure to outside weather conditions and construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage Assistant Project Manager(s) and field personnel.
• Coordinate with design consultants for permits and package delivery.
• Lead bidding, subcontractor evaluation, and buy-out processes.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and change orders across communities.
• Ensure safety, code compliance, and quality control per policy.
• Travel overnight to project sites as required.
