Job summary

MPI in Cleveland seeks an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead multifamily developments from preconstruction through closeout. You will coordinate planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and reporting, while guiding subcontractors and coordinating with owners and design teams.

The role emphasizes safe, on-time, on-budget project delivery and maintaining exceptional client satisfaction within a culture of collaboration and growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in CM/Engineering/Architecture or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager.
  • Significant experience managing multifamily construction projects.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full lifecycle of multifamily construction projects from preconstruction to closeout.
  • Lead planning, scheduling, procurement, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Drive execution to meet schedule milestones and budget targets.
  • Oversee subcontractor management, contracts, and supplier coordination.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with owners, architects, consultants, and stakeholders.
  • Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
  • Collaborate with Superintendents and field teams to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Monitor costs, forecasting, and risk management; lead meetings and updates.

Description
Responsibilities Include:
  • Manage the full lifecycle of multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through project closeout
  • Lead project planning, scheduling, procurement, budgeting, and financial reporting
  • Drive project execution to ensure schedule milestones and budget targets are achieved
  • Oversee subcontractor management, contract administration, and supplier coordination
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, consultants, and project stakeholders
  • Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
  • Collaborate closely with Superintendents and field teams to ensure safe and efficient project delivery
  • Monitor project costs, forecasting, and risk management activities
  • Lead project meetings and communicate project updates to internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and company procedures
  • Identify opportunities for value engineering and process improvement
  • Deliver successful project outcomes while maintaining exceptional client satisfaction
Profile
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager
  • Significant experience managing multifamily construction projects, apartment developments, mixed-use projects, or large commercial developments
  • Strong understanding of concrete construction, structural systems, project scheduling, and construction operations
  • Experience managing project budgets, contracts, subcontractors, and client relationships
  • Proficiency with project management and construction software platforms
  • Strong communication, leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
  • Track record of delivering projects safely, on schedule, and within budget
