Job summary

Harbor Group Management is offering a Summer 2027 Multifamily Operations Intern position in Richardson, TX for a 10-week program at our corporate office. You will rotate across Operations Analytics, Utilities Management, Ancillary Services, and Revenue Management, working with senior leaders to gain exposure to portfolio performance and decision-making.

You will develop analytical and reporting skills, support dashboards and analyses, and contribute to strategic pricing and energy benchmarking

Qualifications

• Rising juniors and seniors enrolled in a 4-year accredited program in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Data/Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5.
• Strong analytical and Excel skills; comfortable working with data and reporting tools.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Able to work on-site in the Dallas corporate office for the duration of the program.

Responsibilities

• Develop analytical and operational skills applicable to multifamily real estate with exposure to corporate support functions.
• Compile and analyze property-level performance data (occupancy, leasing, delinquency, revenue, expenses) for portfolio reporting.
• Support the development and maintenance of operational dashboards and recurring reporting for Multifamily leadership.
• Participate in ad hoc analyses to identify performance trends and opportunities.
• Assist in reviewing utility billing, expense trends, and budget variance analyses with third-party vendors.
• Support energy benchmarking and track property energy and water consumption against standards.
• Assist in evaluating ancillary revenue program performance and vendor partnerships.
• Prepare materials communicating ancillary program performance and revenue impact to teams.
• Monitor pricing and revenue management system recommendations and inform portfolio pricing strategy.
