AGM Management LLC is hiring an Apartment Maintenance Technician to service two properties in Newton (45 units) and Lyons (16 units). The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, safety, and timely repairs to ensure resident comfort.

You will perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repairs, coordinate with contractors, and prepare units for new residents in a fast-paced multifamily environment. A strong team attitude is valued.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
• Experience in general maintenance, preferably residential or multifamily.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, HVAC, drywall, and related equipment.
• Inspect units and common areas for maintenance issues and safety compliance.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and management.
• Complete work orders timely and document activities.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Keep buildings and grounds well-maintained.
• Prepare apartments for new residents, including painting and cleaning.
• Schedule contractors and approve completed work and invoices per cost guidelines.
• Oversee or perform capital improvements and provide updates.
• Purchase materials and ensure proper receipt and documentation.
• Adhere to safety, fair housing, and company policies.
