Job summary

Roundhouse is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Dovetail/Jasper Apartments in Meridian, ID. This full-time, on-site role runs 8am-5pm Tue-Sat with an on-call rotation to handle after-hours emergencies.

You will perform repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and pool/spa systems, and address work orders promptly. Applicants should have at least 1 year of general maintenance experience, strong customer-service orientation, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ year of general maintenance and repair experience.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, CPO, and carpentry systems.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and property management software.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand/walk for long periods, climb ladders, and work outdoors in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Complete repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and pool/spa systems.
• Respond quickly to work orders and ensure high-quality finishes.
• Walk the property to identify issues and maintain safety code compliance.
• Keep grounds and common areas clean, functional, and presentable.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor on tasks and procurements.
• Maintain maintenance software and track materials, hours, and status.
• Attend after-hours on-call rotation and assist with snow/ice removal.
• Follow safety procedures per Employee Handbook and OSHA standards.
