Job summary

Renaissance at Hobble Creek Apartments in Boise, ID, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our on-site team. This role supports a multi-million-dollar, multi-family property and reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.

Experience is welcome but not required, with a focus on reliability and customer service for residents. Responsibilities include electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and preventive maintenance, plus on-call coverage and vendor coordination.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid Idaho driver's license is required.
• Must meet deadlines with strong work ethic and integrity.
• Experience in property maintenance is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance requests from residents within 24–48 hours.
• On-call for after-hours and weekend emergencies.
• Repair electrical, plumbing, and lighting as needed.
• Paint interior and exterior of buildings.
• Perform carpentry, door fitting, and hardware replacement.
• Inspect units and common areas, complete small repairs.
• Prepare vacant apartments for occupancy in 3–5 days.
• Maintain property security and lighting in common areas.
